The Finance team’s vision is to partner with the Group in driving profitable growth, through finance excellence. We support our businesses to make effective commercial and operational decisions; provide information and analysis to management and the Board to support strategic decisions; manage working capital to quickly convert profit into cash; develop and maintain a strong control environment to comply with legal, statutory and tax legislation in all territories we operate in.

With over 100 Finance professionals operating from offices in London, New York, Hong Kong & Gurugram, we are rapidly building a substantial presence in Gurugram to become our largest finance hub. You will be joining our global organisation at a pivotal moment, working with finance and business colleagues from around the globe to deliver the Finance vision.

Manage the month end accounting including calculating and posting journals into Peoplesoft system under IFRS accounting
Provide written commentary and monthly variance analysis on the key areas of focus and present back to FP&A team prior to month end close
Prepare robust and accurate balance sheet reconciliations across the areas of responsibility and advise of risk and opportunities
Manage the Global Tracker on a weekly basis liaising with the Finance Business Partner on any issues/concerns
Calculate commissions on a monthly basis ensuring that they are calculated accurately
Supporting the operations & marketing team with margin management by regularly updating cost sheets within google sheets with actual invoices that have been received
Helping to reconcile and close out prior event cost sheets
Produce weekly sales reporting and distribute to key members of the senior team
Resolve queries where necessary from the business team members, directors and senior management regarding trends and variances on revenues and costs
Conduct ad-hoc analyses and financial modelling as requested
Work closely with FP&A team to help with data insights

Look at ways to improve month end processes and automate where possible
Own the chart of accounts for Events ensuring that they adhered to and new product codes are set up in a timely manner in both salesforce and Peoplesoft
Assist with coding of invoices and help the business deal with AP queries
