Financial Analyst II QSF Administration - VADODARA

Position Summary :

The Financial Analyst will be responsible to process the payment request of settlement amount to different parties such as Claimants, Trustee, Attorney, etc. In addition to this, he will be also responsible for maintaining the financial records & reports of the QSF without any discrepancy. He needs to ensure that payment disbursed to claimants or vendors are within defined TAT. The transaction of funds needs to maintain accurately so that there isnt any financial loss because of over payment. He needs to prepare the monthly report reflecting the accurate status of payment and deliver the same to law firm.

Job Responsibility:

Analyst will be responsible for updating information payment disbursement, creating & updating disbursement worksheets, QSF master sheet, updating tracking & query sheet).

He is responsible for updating & maintaining the Retro - Recon for old QSFs as well as new QSFs on regular basis with 100% accuracy.

Generating the weekly/bi-weekly/monthly report with 100% accuracy within stipulated time frame that is being shared with the Law firm.

Working on company Fees collection report on monthly and bi-monthly basis.

He needs to calibrate with the US team to work on the QSF jointly for any process changes/improvement/query and look after the work in the absence of the US team member.

Dealing with inter-department such QSF accounting & AR team to resolve the discrepancy or query regarding company fees, payment disbursement, Recons, etc.

Analyst will be responsible for maintaining the data in relation to cash inflow and outflow of Qualified Settlement Funds

Professional Qualification/EXPERIENCE:

Graduation (Bachelors) degree, preferably Accounting/Commerce background.

2+ years of finance/data management experience; Bank or ledger reconciliation experience is required.

Certification in MS office including Outlook is preferably.

Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal with excellent analytical and problem-solving ability.

Supporting & coordinating with onshore team based out of overseas offices.

Technical Skills:

Excel skills: X-Lookup, Pivot Table, Conditional Formatting, Data Validation, Charts, Index etc.

Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook

Intermediate knowledge of Data analysis & Interpretation

Accounting/Finance basic concepts

Behavioral Skills and Abilities:

Ability to manage competing priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Must be multi-task oriented and able to work with frequent interruptions.

Team Player with a professional attitude

Job involves supporting & coordinating with onshore team based out of US offices and hence requires flexibility to work in any shift and/or on Indian holidays as well.
