Vacancy: Payments and Account Management Assistant

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated Payments and Account Management Assistant to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling payments, transfers, and account management tasks for our clients, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and exceptional service delivery. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
  • Previous experience in banking or financial services, with a strong understanding of payment processing and account management procedures.
  • Familiarity with the Investec platform and procedures preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and banking software applications.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all payments and transfers for clients, including individuals and corporates, on the Investec platform.
  • Process operational payments and payroll for various corporate clients, adhering to established procedures and timelines.
  • Perform account management duties for Call accounts on the Investec platform, including retrieving statements, tax certificates, and audit trails upon client request.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding banking requirements and inquiries, providing timely and accurate assistance.
  • Process international payments promptly upon request, coordinating with internal teams and external partners as needed.
  • Prepare and submit weekly Cash Balance reports and Investec data to designated stakeholders.
  • Facilitate the opening and closure of bank accounts, both individual and corporate, on the Investec and Access platforms.
  • Provide consultations and onboarding for new clients, presenting banking options and ensuring a smooth transition to our services.
