Minimum 5 years' experience as a Broker Consultant / Life Insurance Agent, etc.Preference will be given to candidates with a CFPRE5 is essentialHave completed relevant class of business and product specific trainingFAIS compliant (continuous professional development)Completed supervision for long-term insurance categoriesAbility to function at a strategic level whilst fulfilling operational responsibilities.Meet the FAIS honesty, integrity and good standing requirementsMeet the FAIS minimum experience requirements in respect of long-term insurance productsMust not have been declared insolvent or provisionally insolventAppropriate tertiary qualification (bachelor's degree in commerce, finance, investments preferable)Have a qualification recognised by the FSCA for FAIS purposes Fully computer literate, xPlan experience advantageousExcellent communication skills, verbal and writtenExcellent negotiation and persuasion skillsClient oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and able to take the initiative (self-starter)To provide and implement advice in respect of insurance needs and solutions to clients in conjunction with the company PartnerAnalyse and identify Life and Short-Term Insurance (STI) opportunities within the client bases of their panel of financial planning partner's practicePrepare comprehensive advice documents (proposals, comparisons, and quotation) for presentation to clientsProvide the specialist advice in respect of Life Insurance (Death, Disability and Critical Cover) needs. This will include specialist areas such as Estate Planning (in conjunction with the Company Fiduciary partners) and Business AssuranceImplement the agreed solution for clients and manage underwriting and other onboarding requirementsReview clients cover according to internal business procedures, or if client circumstances changeAcquire short term insurance leads from the company's financial planning partnersOn receipt of the client's consent, refer these clients to the STI tele-advisor, book an appointment for the client with the tele-advisor, and forward any existing short term insurance schedules to the STI tele-advisor for capture prior to the appointmentCommunicate and receive confirmation from the STI tele-advisor that the appointment has taken place and the outcome of the appointmentMaintain and develop client relationshipsSupport and contribute to company initiatives to communicate to, educate and engage clients in order to better meet their needsMonitor and report on the success and implementation of client and partner focused initiativesAdhere to the culture and principles of TCF - treating customers fairlyComply with Group and Industry regulatory requirements
Monthly plus Basic Salary + Commission
