About the role

We are looking for a motivated professional to join our newly established Wanaka branch as an Investment Adviser.

In this role you will develop business plans and strategies in order to build a client base with a keen eye on providing high quality investment advice that is aligned to your client's investment goals and circumstances.

We are committed to continuous learning, so our team of 180+ Investment Advisers receive training on products, sales and networking skills.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will ideally:
  • Have a tertiary degree in either finance, commerce, business, or a related field;
  • Be a qualified Financial Adviser;
  • Enjoy working with people and helping them make informed decisions relevant to their financial future;
  • Have an ability to explain financial concepts in an easily understandable way;
  • Be energetic, motivated and proactive;
  • Be able to demonstrate strong business development skills;
  • Possess excellent communication and networking skills;
  • Have established local connections to client networks;
  • Have a high level of professionalism.

Although a qualified Financial Adviser would be desirable, we are open to receiving applications from candidates who are working in a related field and who may not currently possess a relevant qualification and/or Level 5 Financial Services Certificate.
