As an Account Manager you will be responsible for and have experience in, all aspects of client servicing to maintain and grow an existing book of Construction business. You will demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills and a strong service ethic, ensuring incomparable quality is always delivered to our clients. Additionally, you will generate new business opportunities to contribute to the success of the team and will work to achieve individual and team targets.
The Role
- As a client advocate, ensure that the client's risk management and insurance broking objectives are determined and actioned to ensure the delivery of high-quality services
- In consultation with the Construction Practice Leader, drive the new business development process within the team, with appropriate strategies to gain new business for the group
- Maximise revenue generated from the existing client base through continual analysis of client profitability and utilisation of group facilities
- Manage the company profile with insurers by identifying and maintaining strategic relationships in all key markets
- Comply with specific business management processes
- Training, mentoring and development of colleagues within the Construction practice
The Requirements
- Proven experience within the insurance broking industry, preferably in Construction
- The ability to understand a client's needs and exceed their expectations
- Professional, reliable, and able to work autonomously with minimal guidance
- Substantial insurance broking or industryexperience
- Demonstrated experience in complex coverage/wording review
- Proven understanding of the claims management process
- Level 5 qualifications or working towards completion
- Some understanding of eGlobal
- Broad understanding of the business and economic environment
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or significant business experience
