We are currently looking a Operations Manager to join our Payment and Cash Operations, leading the International Accounts Reconciliations Team.

Mo te tūranga | About the Role:
  • Plan, drive, and deliver tangible stakeholder outcomes through effective business plans, governance, capabilities, and culture within your team.
  • Drive operational and CX change in your team by building end to end process knowledge, CX mindsets and continuously challenging the status quo/ redesigning processes.
  • Lead and develop your people, driving productivity and performance across the team.
  • Ensure that our key operational processes are delivered to meet SLA's.
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage a high performing team that carries out the following functions including, but not limited to, settlements; investigations; reconciliations, and deceased estates.

Mōu |About you:
  • Operations experience within the banking or finance sector
  • 2-5 years leading or contributing to the leadership of a team in banking or finance industry
  • Experience in delivering results through operations excellence; leveraging tools such as lean, DMAIC, agile, human centred design. Preferably green belt accredited or above.
  • Experience in leading or contributing to strong customer and business outcomes; effectively leveraging operations management frameworks and methodologies, operations excellence skills
  • You're a proven leader with demonstrable experience coaching and developing team members.
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to identify and drive process improvements.
  • A proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships and possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • You have the ability to focus on our wider vision and strategy whilst managing the tactical components of running a team.
