We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Albany, Auckland based Support Centre as an Accounts Payable Shared Services Team Leader.

The role is responsible for supporting the Shared Services team to provide and maintain an effective accounts payable service while proactively leading and managing the Accounts Payable team, ensuring that there are adequate processes and procedures in place, to enable effective and efficient supplier ledger integrity. Further, this role is required to promote a constructive and customer focused team culture, continuously improve work practices and adopt a business partnering approach to internal customers by working collaboratively and developing solutions in the achievement of objectives.

What you'll deliver:
  • Ensuring the accurate processing and reconciliation of the Accounts Payable Ledgers for designated group of member companies
  • Providing a high standard of service to the allocated group of members according to the agreed SLA KPI's
  • Ensuring the team is allocating purchase order numbers (if applicable) and resolving any issues
  • Managing the blocking and unblocking of invoices
  • Agreeing KPIs and team targets with manager and team and delivering against them
  • Developing, coaching and supporting a high performing team.

To be successful in this role you will have:
  • Demonstrated experience in leadership, development of people and resource planning
  • Experience leading a team delivering full function accounts payable in large volume transactional services
  • Tertiary qualification in accounting, business, commerce or a related field and, or demonstrated experience
  • Experience in all facets of Accounts Payable
  • Proven experience with large ERP - SAP S4/HANA is highly preferred.
