Job Description

Role Purpose:

Provide full-service management of key client accounts through market research information, analysis and reports and identify new opportunities for developing business in Customized Research.

Primary responsibility would include managing all business requirements from key clients in retailer & ecom sectors along with a few clients in FMCG. Other responsibilities would include developing business for NielsenIQ beyond the key accounts, depending on opportunities presented and available

Accountabilities:

Accountable for success of the team by ensuring revenue target as well as team development

Client Management

• Provides advice and consultation to clients and staff

• Develops strategic understanding of industry trends, competition and opportunities of NielsenIQ

• Demonstrated recognition by client as an “expert” related to research knowledge areas

• Presents results of study to the client’s top management

• Ensures the financials w.r.t pricing, client collection, revenue targets

Project Management

• Designs and plans research projects following client briefing and needs

• Collaborate and relevant stages of project management with other stakeholders

• Provides advice on the execution of projects, informs clients on progress and gives specific instructions to other departments regarding the collection and electronic processing of information

Team Development

• Introduce new solutions and thought leadership pieces to the team

• Mentors the team (direct/indirect) while maintaining high morale and open culture

• Embrace diversity and inclusion

Internal management

• Develops the business (profit and loss responsibilities)

• Strong Leadership Competencies (360 degree assessment), proven successful business record, and demonstrated ability to effectively develop teams via execution of the various processes

• Provide top management with thorough review of internal and client financials including budget and forecast
