Razorpay was founded by Shashank Kumar and Harshil Mathur in 2014. Razorpay is building a new-age digital banking hub (Neobank) for businesses in India with the mission is to enable frictionless banking and payments experiences for businesses of all shapes and sizes. What started as a B2B payments company is processing billions of dollars of payments for lakhs of businesses across India.

We are a full-stack financial services organisation, committed to helping Indian businesses with comprehensive and innovative payment and business banking solutions built over robust technology to address the entire length and breadth of the payment and banking journey for any business. Over the past year, we've disbursed loans worth millions of dollars in loans to thousands of businesses. In parallel, Razorpay is reimagining how businesses manage money by simplifying business banking (via Razorpay X) and enabling capital availability for businesses (via Razorpay Capital).

Roles and Responsibilities
  • Owner Mindset: As a Product Leader, you will be expected to be another entrepreneur at Razorpay who exhibits owner mindset and is comfortable to go beyond the defined role. You embrace as well as excel and thrive in front of a complex, ambiguous and uncertain challenge.
  • Product Leadership: Set processes and systems to scale the team and its effectiveness. Mentor and invest in the growth of your team. Identify hiring needs and own hiring end to end in your area. Lead from the front and be comfortable to be hands-on.
  • Business Strategy: Craft out our long term vision and business strategy to achieve the northstar. Identify new product lines and innovation opportunities.
  • Product Strategy: Define both long term product strategy and quarterly roadmap to achieve the product vision and create impact.
  • Execution: You will primarily drive product conceptualisation, product development, execution and Go-to-Market via your team. Leaders at Razorpay are expected to be comfortable in being hands-on.

Mandatory Qualifications:
  • Minimum 10 years of core product management experience with 3-4 years in a team handling role.
  • You think from a customer's perspective & think of customer delight
  • You have a strong focus on experience and system driven thinking.
  • You understand technology, but love customer-first & business-first thinking.
  • You are comfortable working hands-on as a leader in a fast-paced start-up environment.
  • You are curious about metrics, execution processes, macro trends.
  • Energetic self-starter with the hunger to work independently in a competitive and fast-paced environment.
