Reference: NFR003743-PaB-1Are you a skilled and experienced Accountant looking for an exciting new opportunity?
My client is seeking a dynamic Senior Accountant to expertly manage their local, group, and cross-border finances. Join their team and play a pivotal role in their financial operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all functions.This role is based in Bryanston, Johannesburg North. There will be travel into Uganda for extended period of times.Key Responsibilities:

Vetting and Accreditation: Oversee the vetting and accreditation process for prospective business partners, including retailers, service providers, and wallet holders.
Ecommerce Management: Lead and manage the Ecommerce function to drive growth and ensure seamless operations.
Procurement Management: Ensure effective management of the procurement function, optimizing cost-efficiency and supply chain reliability.
Accounts Receivable: Handle the entire accounts receivable process, from accurate revenue recognition to collections and bad debt management.
Accounts Payable: Manage accounts payable, including creditors, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
Cashbook and Cash Flow Management: Oversee cashbook processing and ensure effective cash flow management to support business operations.
Financial Accounting: Manage the full spectrum of financial accounting, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all relevant standards.
Statutory Reviews and Submissions: Conduct statutory reviews and ensure timely, accurate submissions to regulatory bodies.
Tax and Financial Reporting: Compile and review tax calculations and financial statements, providing accurate reporting to stakeholders, senior management, and the board of directors.


BCom degree in Accounting or Finance related.
Proven experience in managing local, group, and cross-border finances.
Strong expertise in financial accounting, procurement, ecommerce, and accounts management.
Ability to conduct thorough vetting and accreditation of business partners.
Excellent cash flow management and cashbook processing skills.
Proficiency in statutory reviews and submissions.
Experience in tax calculations and financial reporting.
Exceptional organizational and communication skills.
Willingness to work on our African projects, particularly in Uganda.
