My client is seeking a Commercial Assistant to join their market-leading and fast-growing company. This role is ideal for a highly ambitious and commercially minded individual who is eager to contribute to the continuous growth of the business. The successful candidate will play a key role in defining and implementing the commercial strategy and influencing the fulfilment of key business objectives.
Day to Day of the role:
  • Support the management of the company’s commercial offer, including pricing and commercial agreements with partners.
  • Collaborate with the Product Management function to review, calculate, implement and communicate sales pricing of new and existing products.
  • Undertake commercial analysis and provide recommendations on commercial decisions.
  • Provide commercial support to new business tenders and the sales teams.
  • Monitor, report and comment on performance against forecast of sales, costs and margin.
  • Maintain awareness of market and competitor activity (product, price, promotions, etc.).
  • Work closely with the Business Systems team to ensure systems are accurate with product and pricing data.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Degree in a relevant business discipline (e.g., Business Studies, Business Management, Finance, Economics).
  • At least 1 year of post-graduation work experience.
  • Strong commercial acumen and entrepreneurial approach.
  • Strong analytical skills with a thorough and accurate approach to work.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Drive, ambition and enthusiasm to learn, progress and deliver results.
