The Role and Key Responsibilities:
This position reports directly to the Senior Accountant, who is dedicated to mentoring and professional development. We are seeing a candidate with a solid understanding of the accounts payable function, who is proactive, punctual, a problem solver, takes initiative, learns quickly, works diligently, and has excellent attention to detail. This role offers significant opportunities for growth and development within the team. Your responsibilities will include:
  • Processing accounts payable transactions weekly and handling bi-monthly payments
  • Completing bi-weekly bank reconciliations
  • Processing reimbursement forms for any management / team members in the business
  • Assisting the team in creating the month-end financial pack
  • Actively maintain the finance mailbox daily
  • Assist with GST preparation for NZ, AU and UK
  • Supporting audits
  • Calculating monthly commissions for partners and staff
  • Performing general office administration and planning
  • Supporting the Finance Team with any additional requests or projects
To be considered for this role, you will:
  • Have over 2 years of experience in accounts payable and administration.
  • Be proficient in handling complex transactions, including foreign payments and general month-end processes.
  • Possess strong Excel skills and familiarity with accounting software. Experience with NetSuite is preferred.
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams across the organisation.
  • Be a team player who can build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and exhibit strong analytical problem-solving abilities.
