Are you an experienced and detail-oriented payroll professional seeking a new opportunity? If so, we are looking for someone like you to join our growing team as we continue to provide top-notch residential heating and air conditioning services in Southern California!

Our company is currently seeking a Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for various aspects of payroll processing, credit card transaction reconciliations, timecard reconciliation, and company insurance management, among other operational admin tasks.

This is an hourly position with regular working hours from 9-5, and the salary range is between $22 to $27 per hour.

Responsibilities:

Accurately process payroll for our employees, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations
Reconcile credit card transactions and ensure accurate record-keeping
Perform time card reconciliation using ADP or similar software
Manage company insurance, including liability and workers compensation, and ensure timely payments and compliance with insurance regulations
Handle miscellaneous operational admin tasks, such as data entry, reporting, and record maintenance

Qualifications:

Prior experience in payroll processing is required
Proficient in using payroll software, such as ADP or similar systems
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation
Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
