American Dental Companies, a leading dental services organization, is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Staff Accountant to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. You will play a vital role in managing the financial operations of our growing dental network. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization while working in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare financial statements in accurate and timely manner.

- Generate general ledger entries and reconcile accounts

- Prepare custom reports for owners.

- Implement and maintain strong internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulatory requirements.

- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making and drive operational efficiencies.

- Coordinate with CFO on internal audits, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

1. Education and Experience:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting and finance

-Experience handling multiple companies and intercompany transactions

- Experience working in the healthcare industry, preferably dental or healthcare services, is highly desirable but not required.

2. Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.

3. Detail-Oriented: Keen attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

4. Excellent verbal and written communication

5. Technology Proficiency: Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office Suite (particularly Excel) to analyze and present financial information effectively.
