Our team is looking for an entrepreneurial, role-up-your-sleeves leader to join our team as Family Office Business & Accounting Manager. This adaptable, honest, experienced, and self-sufficient leader will work to establish processes and procedures and serve as a financial advisor for multiple facets of the business. The Family Office will operate in close collaboration with the Company in its headquarter offices located in Atlanta, GA.

The successful candidate sought is a high-impact professional, who thrives in a fast-paced environment. While having a technical understanding of the subject matter for the position is important, cultural fit is the critical factor in identifying the right candidate.

The Family Office Business & Accounting Manager will have the support of the family's trusted executive corporate team.

The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:

Serve as liaison between the family and tax partners
Guide the family with tax preparation expertise
Maintain a working knowledge of the overall family portfolio and the status of each item
Manage oversight of Family assets, including investment accounts, properties, trusts, and other interests
Ability to work with and manage teams located multi-countries
Develop and maintain relationships with service professionals and investment bankers
Develop and implement the Family Office strategic investment and operational plan
Establish, maintain, and operate with high ethical standards in alignment with the Family's core values
Oversee the preparation of financial statements, tax returns, and periodic portfolio reports
Communicate with brokers, and other external advisors affecting Family-directed strategies and/or initiatives
Oversee property management.

Qualifications:

Proven track record of negotiating and managing transactions
Undergraduate degree and preferably an active CPA designation or an MBA
Clear ability to successfully interact with diverse internal and external constituencies
Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects
Demonstrated experience in being flexible and resourceful within a complex and lean environment
Demonstrated leadership and mentoring skills toward direct subordinates
Well-developed quantitative skills, including proficiency with Excel, Quick books, NetSuite, GreatPlains, and other accounting systems
Family office experience and exposure to real estate, tax, and/or investment activities are a must
