The Challenge and The Opportunity

Premier Needle Arts (PNA) is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our team. As a Staff Accountant, you will play a key role in maintaining the financial health of our company and ensuring compliance with all accounting standards. You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:

Entering the day-to-day financial transactions and completing the posting process.
Process invoices and payments.
Manage sales tax software and ensure tax returns are filed.
Reconcile and complete monthly and annual closing procedures.
Run weekly reports and KPI calculations.
Post trade show sales and reconcile cash.
Work with other departments to resolve accounting related issues.

Requirements

Essential skills and experience:

A minimum of one-year accounting experience.
A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
Ability to manage competing priorities, and to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines while remaining organized.
Independently solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.
Handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
MS Office proficiency, including intermediate Excel skills. We will require you to perform an on-site excel skills assessment.

Preferred skills and experience:

Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles a plus.
NetSuite software experience highly desired.

Upon a conditional offer of employment, a criminal background check will be required.

Benefits

Compensation: $20.68 to $26.45 per hour DOQ, plus annual bonus based on EBITDA and company profitability.
