Are you a driven, part-qualified Assistant Management Accountant looking for a new role that offers study support and unparalleled development opportunities? Do you have a strong background in reconciling accounts, producing journals, and a thorough understanding of double-entry accounting? Robertson Bell is excited to partner with this growing not-for-profit organisation as they go to market for an Assistant Management Accountant on a permanent basis. In this newly created role, you will be responsible for all month-end duties, spearheading a business partnering function, and assisting in innovative projects.

In this Assistant Management Accountant role, you will:
  • Be fully responsible for monthly bank reconciliations, journal entries, and control account reconciliations.
  • Have full oversight of the production of monthly accounts, proactively identify areas of improvement to the function, and create an accompanying commentary.
  • Reforecast quarterly by conducting monthly meetings with key stakeholders and pave the way in creating a business partnering function within the finance team.
  • Assist the Finance Manager in the production of the annual budget by consolidating figures and drafting budgets for review.
  • Play a pivotal role in the implementation of a new CRM system, development of accounts, and improvement of the finance function.

Based in central London, the successful candidate will benefit from a generous pension, a hybrid working pattern requiring you to go into the office three days a week, a competitive annual leave allowance, and healthcare perks.

Please apply if you:
  • Are a part-qualified CCAB Accountant with the desire to continue your studies in an opportunity that offers study support.
  • Come from the charity sector and have an understanding of restricted and unrestricted funds, or have a keen desire to join a not-for-profit organisation.
  • Are adept and experienced in performing manual bank reconciliations, have a deep understanding of double-entry accounting, and strong Excel skills.
  • Have a keen desire to learn, develop, and get stuck in within a wide and varied role.

Applicants will be reviewed on a rolling basis, and the vacancy may close early if sufficient applications are received. To avoid disappointment, apply now!
