My client based in Colburn is looking for a temporary Finance Assistant who can start with immediate effect. The contract will be for approximately 3-4 months and is suitable for an experienced Finance Assistant who can hit the ground running.

Duties include but are not limited to:
  • Coding and posting supplier invoices
  • Supplier statement reconciliation
  • Managing and maintaining purchase ledger
  • Prepayments & Accruals
  • Intercompany transfers
  • Answering supplier emails/ calls
  • Matching invoices from suppliers with purchase orders/ delivery notes
  • Credit control duties
  • Code and post credit card expenses to the purchase ledger on a timely basis
  • Balance sheet reconciliation
  • Working closely with the Finance Manager to establish the weekly cash payment BACS run
  • Multi-currency bank reconciliations

Desirable qualities:
  • Sage 50 experience
  • Payroll experience
  • Excellent organisational skills

Job information:
  • Full time
  • Monday-Friday 08:30-17:00, with a 30 minute lunch
  • £13.00-£14.00
