The Client

Our client are a utilities specialist offering a comprehensive and professional service from a team of in-house specialists, they are accredited to the highest industry standards for upgrading, maintaining and providing new mains electricity connections from the Power Network to your electricity meter.

Following a period of rapid growth they are looking for an experienced Managing Director to their team.

The Role of Managing Director

Our client are looking for a Managing Director to oversee the day to day running of their rapidly growing business, the successful candidate will ensure smooth daily operation of the business and ensure all relevant financial, legal and compliance requirements are met.

* Oversee the day-to-day management of the company of circa.

* Full financial responsibility for growth and profitability, business planning and setting financial budgets

* Executing and monitoring the performance of comprehensive business plans, ensuring alignment with short-term and long-term objectives

* Ownership of business plans, including sales forecasts, the creation of cash flow forecasts and annual budgets •

* Preparation of monthly and year-to-date performance reports to the Board, including commentary, analysis and recommendations

* Implement and instil the company’s values, mission statement, are controlled and all revenue opportunities are maximised to their full potential. •

* Astute and prudent management of the company’s financial performance, investment and cost control protocols

Key skills and Experience:

* We are looking for a first class, high integrity Managing Director - a dynamic business leader - with an outstanding pedigree in driving performance and profitable growth in a similar or associated sector to the client.

* Strategically and financially aware and with high level commercial and operational capability, you will be comfortable managing a growing business.

* You will have contributed significantly to influencing business performance, leading great teams, whilst ensuring revenue and margin objectives are achieved.

* A consummate professional, with superb relationship building, communication and presentation skills, you will be a real business driver, combining a shrewd commercial mind-set with excellent numerical and analytical awareness.

* In style you will be proactive, engaging, resilient and motivational, and with the credibility, drive and ambition to take this business to the next level.


* Salary of £120,000 - £140,000
