Butler Rose Public Practice are delighted to be supporting our client, a well-established SME accounting firm based in Ringwood, who are eager to appoint an experienced and suitably qualified Bookkeeper. Role


  • 2+ years of solid Bookkeeping experience from a similar accountancy practice.
  • Ability to take source documents through to initial trial balance.
  • Ensure general bookkeeping is completed in a timely manner.
  • Production of monthly management accounts.
  • Cash flow management and forecasts.
  • Bank reconciliations, Credit Control, Purchase & sales ledger and monthly reporting
  • Preparing and submitting VAT returns, dealing with HMRC queries.
  • Xero and QBO, and Sage would be beneficial but not essential



  • At least 2+ years' experience gained as a Bookkeeper/Senior Accounts Assistant working for a UK based accountancy practice.
  • Qualified or studying with a recognised qualification
  • Working knowledge of Xero is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Refurbished offices in the south coast area.
  • Free on-site parking.
  • Additional training and study support where required.
