This role will work closely with the Infrastructure MD, Procurement and Finance to lead the commercial strategy within Infrastructure.

The role will support the company through the next phase of exponential growth, collaborating with the build teams to achieve their ambitious targets, overseeing CPU, Business Partner spend, Contracts negotiations, suppliers.

This person will be a strong people leader who is a strong commercial background with excellent negotiation skills, curious, and analytical, enjoys problem-solving and takes the initiative to help drive performance directly or through others.

Focus on:

(1) Business Partner cost

(2) Business partner quality

  • Partner Management, to include rate negotiation and relationship
  • invoice and quality sign off
  • of all spend governance including cost per unit (including Business Partners and direct labour costs) providing insight and cost forecasting to the Operational Delivery Directors
  • & Innovation spend (including Tooling) and how this yields benefits to our unit costs
  • closely with the Infrastructure MD and the Directors to help shape the long term business partner strategy
  • contributor to board packs and strategy to ensure fit for purpose reporting for Infrastructure and the wider business, representing the views and requirements of ELT
  • long term resource strategy including mix between BP and DL

  • an active member of the leadership team
  • to the development and overall execution of the Finance strategy
  • overall leadership responsibility for the Commercials of the Infrastructure team,
  • closely with the Finance to ensure smooth processes between the teams
  • high colleague engagement levels, fostering cross-functional collaboration and developing a high performance continual improvement culture across the teams
  • personal expertise to coach direct reports to support company growth


Fully qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA or equivalent) or part-qualified/QBE with a

degree in a business, IT or science discipline

Previously held senior Commercial Role with a track record in Delivery
