Our client a successful market leading organisation based in Diss, are seeking a proactive Management Accountant to join their finance team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a part-qualified professional who is looking to take the next step in their career.

Reporting to the Finance Manager this role will be responsible for the preparation, development and analysis of key financial information enabling the Company’s management team to make well-informed decisions regarding future stability, growth and profitability.

Key

Responsibilities:


• Preparation of management accounts for a subsidiary and assisting in other subsidiaries (as agreed with FM);
• Consolidation of other entities in Group format as required;
• Input in preparation of management accounts for other group companies on ad hoc basis;
• Presentation and review of customer profitability reports, as required;
• Preparation and presentation of other financial data as requested on an ad hoc basis;
• Business relationship partnership within different areas of the organisation, as required;
• Daily sales reporting as required;
• Assistance with group budgeting process;
• Assistance with annual subsidiary audit;
• Periodic provision of cover for other members of the management accounts team during key projects and on ad hoc basis;
• Responsibility of assisting in the internal audit function;
• Assistance with implementing corporate governance procedures, risk management and internal controls identified;
• Assistance with monitoring and evaluation financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed.

What you will bring to the role:

• You will be stuyding towards a recognised accounting qualification such as ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CGMA
• Significant, demonstrable experience in a finance role
• Proficient Excel skills are imperative.
• Effective communication skills
• Attention to detail
