As the Group Strategy Manager, you will be a pivotal business partner, shaping Trade Me's future through strategic insight and flawless execution. Your expertise will guide us in developing winning strategies across multiple horizons, ensuring alignment with market dynamics and value creation opportunities. You will establish a robust management framework to translate strategic plans into tangible results, fostering accountability and risk management.

  • Ensure seamless execution through early identification and resolution of risks.
  • Build effective relationships and influence at all organisational levels.
  • Make informed strategic decisions by integrating technology, commerce, and market insights.
  • Play a key role in M&A decisions and seamlessly integrate acquisitions.
  • Provide transparent reporting to the Executive team and Board on strategic progress.

  • Minimum 7 years of strategy development and execution experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or related field; MBA preferred.
  • Background in management consulting or in-house strategy role.
  • Exposure to mergers and acquisitions advantageous.
  • Demonstrated success in planning and managing strategic projects.
