Main Assignment Responsibilities Will Include:
Bookkeeping:
  • Maintain accurate financial records using XERO accounting software
  • Process accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions.
  • Prepare financial reports and assist with budgeting.
  • Compile, analyze, and create reports on financial datasuch as balance sheet and income statement that have been updated and compared to the previous reports.
  • Record and post transactions such as income and expenditures
  • Manage all accounting transactions and reports statements such as Financial Statements consisting of Profit and Loss (Income and Expense) Statement, Balance Sheet (Assets and Liabilities), and Cash Flow Statement (operating, investing, and financing activities).
  • Reconcile accounts payables and receivables.
  • Reconciliation of reports to third- party records such as Bank statements.
  • Documentation and Filing of company's files.
  • Compute and prepare taxation (GST Return Report and GST Audit Report)
  • Ensure timely processing of payments (Bill payment reminders and employee payment processing)
  • Any related work as assigned by the management within the scope of Accounting and Bookkeeping general practice.
Administrative:
  • Answer phones, manage emails, and handle general office tasks.
  • Coordinate administrative duties as needed.
  • Any related work as assigned by the management within the scope Administrative scope
Requirements:
  • Proven local experience of at least 3 years working as a Bookkeeper and in an Administrative role.
  • Proficiency in XERO accounting software.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Someone with local experience is preferred.
  • Open to a resident/citizen or open-work visa holder only.
