About role :

As a Finance Analyst join our team, providing essential FP&A support across all lines of business. As the Finance Analyst, you'll play a crucial part in budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting, ensuring the financial health and success of our operations in New Zealand. Join us and be at the forefront of financial analysis and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans for the New Zealand business.
  • Develop and maintain business forecasting models, providing updated information to stakeholders.
  • Design and build financial models for analysis and perform scenario analysis to determine the likely impacts of changes.
  • Liaise with key stakeholders to obtain and validate business assumptions for accurate forecasts and budgets.
  • Analyze trends, variances, and year-on-year comparisons to support informed decision-making.
  • Own financial performance reporting and commentary, providing insights on actual performance against targets.
  • Review and validate financial results at month-end and assist in preparing various reporting decks.
  • Build strong relationships with senior management and key stakeholders, guiding profitability and cost reduction.
  • Produce monthly profitability reporting, validating cost allocations and driving continuous improvement.

What You'll Bring
  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
  • CPA/CA or equivalent qualification preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of demonstrable experience in FP&A and management reporting.
  • Experience in Distribution, Supply Chain, or Logistics preferred.
  • Proficiency in SAP, OneStream, and MS Office applications, advanced Excel skills required.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities and drive process improvements.
  • Experience with BI tools like Power Pivot, Power Query, and Qliksense is desirable.
  • Demonstrated competencies in collaboration, strategic thinking, and embracing change.
