The role - Finance Business Partner Asset Management

As Finance Business Partner Asset Management you will work with other Finance Business Partners and the Group Reporting Manager to delivery the financial report in a timely manner. You will support the Asset Management, Health and Safety and Compliance team as their financial lead.

What you’ll do

You will
  • Oversee the Major repairs programme, ensuring spend is accurately allocated and component replacements reflected in ledger and asset register
  • Ensure management accounts, budgets and forecasts are delivered to strict deadlines
  • Work with budget holders to actively manage risks, draft action plans, review performance and identify potential savings
  • Present management information packs at directorate, senior management and other service review meetings regularly
  • Assist in the statutory account production providing quality audit file and producing monthly audit schedules
  • Provide monthly reconciliations against the monthly contractors spend reports

What you’ll need

We’re looking for someone who:
  • is a qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
  • is experienced in setting up and maintaining successful partnerships
  • has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • has a strong finance background with a proven track record in financial and management reporting
  • has a high attention to detail and accuracy with the ability to deal with large and complex levels of data
