Job Description

We have a new and exciting opportunity for a Senior Associate - Travel & Expense to join our Finance team in Hyderabad, India.

We are seeking a highly motivated, people-focused professional to join our existing team of like-minded and experienced employees.

Working as part of the Group Finance team, you will assist Travel & Expense Manager on the Travel programme ensuring smooth use of the Group travel booking system (NAVAN) and support of user requirements whilst keeping within the parameters of the travel strategy and keeping abreast of industry best practice.

What will you do?
  • Support T&E Manager in driving the Navan Global Travel Programme by managing, and overseeing travel and expense activities, ensuring compliance with company policies.
  • Assist T&E manager in developing a suite of Navan system generated reports to ensure all stakeholder requirements are met. (Stakeholders include IQEQ Cluster leads, Group Finance, Suppliers, Budget holders and Navan system users/approvers.)
  • Collaborate with various departments and stakeholders to gather information, address queries, and resolve issues promptly and professionally related to Travel & Expense.
  • Prepare regular reports on T&E activities, including spend analysis, compliance metrics and provide insights to the manager for cost-saving opportunities by analysing data to identify trends, discrepancies, and process improvements.
  • Assist in updating and maintaining of travel policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and report any non-compliance issues to the T&E Manager.
  • Support T&E manager in budget planning and forecasting for the travel programme.
  • Source and negotiate special rates with travel related providers to ensure optimal costs are always available within the system to support the overall Travel strategy.
  • Manage Navan relationship engaging in issue resolution, system development and expansion projects.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a Business Travel & Expense role and in particular with use of a T&E System (experience of Navan, formerly Trip Actions is an advantage).
  • Experience of working in a global multi-currency professional services business.
  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, MBA, or related field.
  • 2-4 years of relevant work experience in travel and expense management.
  • Sound understanding of financial reporting and budgeting.
  • Proven negotiation skills.
  • Microsoft Office experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude.
  • Resilient - can work in a fast-paced environment.
