  • This role will sit within the Business Management function of Wholesale Transformation, reporting into the WT India Lead. The successful candidate will drive key priorities of WT India.

Key Responsibilities of the role holder will include:



Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive people strategy that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives, focusing on talent acquisition, development, retention, and succession planning.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) and objectives and key results (OKRs) for the organization, ensuring alignment with overall business goals.
  • Foster a strong sense of community within the organization by promoting employee engagement, collaboration, and communication through various initiatives, events, and programs.
  • Contribute to the development and execution of the WT India Vision, ensuring alignment with global strategies and objectives.
  • Oversee the effective allocation and utilization of resources, including workforce planning, talent management, and performance management, to ensure optimal productivity and efficiency.
  • Manage the WT India's financial resources, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting, to ensure financial stability and growth.
  • Establish and maintain a Centre of Excellence within the organization, promoting best practices, continuous improvement, and innovation across all functions.

responsibilities:


Primary customers are:
  • Global Wholesale Transformation teams
  • Other business areas and lines as appropriate
  • Group Functional Teams - e.g. Risk, Group Finance, IT
  • Operational support teams
  • Group & Regional teams

Other stakeholders on projects will include:
  • Other Transformation functions
  • Regulatory authorities
  • Other service delivery functions
  • Data service providers
  • Software, data and service vendors

Value Creation:
  • Building strong relationships to embed consensus and build a strong narrative that contributes to the overall objectives of the Global Wholesale Transformation team
  • Foster open and honest communication which anticipates team and stakeholder expectations

Operational Performance:
  • Contributing to relevant FRP as well as all agreed cost, quality and delivery commitments
  • Supporting a culture of high performance and achievement; removing barriers to successful change

Capability & People Development:
  • Promotes innovative approach when devising solutions

Requirements

What you will need to succeed in the role:

Knowledge
  • Knowledge of banking and financial services, preferably with Wholesale Banking experience
  • Knowledge of Business Management best practices
  • Tooling solution experience, including but not limited to, Qliksense and Qlikview
  • Coding experience, including Python and SQL
  • Knowledge of HR People Insights and Clarity reporting
  • Exceptional analytical skillset: experience with managing and analyzing big data sets
  • Ability to present complex data into simplified and meaningful data outputs to enable decision making

Experience
  • 10 + years' experience in Business Management, Finance or Workforce Management role
  • Proven organisational skills and ability to quickly prioritise within a complex, fast paced environment with short deadlines
  • Proficient in financial management and reporting
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skils
  • Sound analytical skills with an ability to understand complex technical and business issues
  • Experience of working on a global scale (i.e. across timezone & geography and with remote teams)
  • Experience of management accounting and financial forecasting an advantage (not required)
