About Business Line/Function:

Global Market Operations (GMO) covers Front Office activities such as ALM/Treasury and Fixed Income local booking. GMO consists of various streams, Control and Investigations, Settlement, Collateral and Reconciliation. GMO teams are also in regular contact with Capital Market Middle Office, Regional Back Office's and Regional Finance.

Position Purpose

The role at Fees Payables is in charge of the team that handles the computation, control, reconciliation and payment of the invoices related to various types of expenses, providing direction, instructions and guidance to all team members.

Undertake a variety of financial and non-financial tasks in order to help guarantee the company's revenues;

Responsibilities

  • ? Takes part in initiatives of processes improvement, like Transformation Projects, Committees (New Activity Committee and Transaction Approval Committee), IG mission, and Incidents, under the supervision of the Team Leader or Manager.
  • ? Responsible for Newcomers training, under the supervision of the Team Leader.
  • ? Active contributor to the team reporting needs, being an end user of reporting tools.
  • ? Provide quick feedback to internal/ external sources, and also follow-ups on difficult topics (escalations), with the support of the Team Leader.
  • ? Manages added value tasks that have been delegated by the Team leader, like End Of Month requests or Payment Validation.
  • ? Point of contact for the different Business stakeholders (Front Office, Middle Office, Finance, Procurement, Accounting Controls, and others) acting autonomously.
  • ? Participate actively in continuous improvement/efficiency gains and in the calibration of the control framework.

Risk Control:

  • Being aware of control/checklist and all policy of the organization.
  • Ensure that all tasks are processed accurately and on a timely manner
  • Identify risk, Escalate issues timely.

Contributing Responsibilities

  • Good Excel skills required.
