Our team delivers a managed payroll service to a diverse range of clients, exposing you to various businesses and company payrolls. What will your typical week look like?
  • Manage the expectations of relevant stakeholders around the completion of these tasks and develop the technical knowledge within the Payroll Team to ensure internal and client service standards are met
  • Backup and technical support to the Payroll Manager, including covering pays, processing taxation, KiwiSaver and relevant pay run reports or reconciliations
  • Assist with the end-to-end processing of payroll, including PAYE obligations and filing the returns
  • Manage payroll-related queries, internal and external reporting and engage with the wider business
  • Be involved in various projects and payroll related work that arise from time to time

What you need to be successful
  • Outgoing personality, willingness to work hard and have fun along the way
  • Want and desire to continuously develop yourself
  • Be highly customer-focused, you will want to own the client relationship
  • Can work autonomously and part of the wider team
  • You can work in a fast paced, dynamic, and deadline driven environment
  • Have strong time management skills, but with a strong focus on accuracy
  • Previous payroll experience
  • Experience using payroll systems is preferable, but not necessary
  • Computer literacy across a range of Microsoft products in particular Excel
