  • Conduct through market research to understand industry trends, customer behaviour, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyse pricing strategies employed by competitors and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Identify opportunities and threats in the market that may impact pricing decisions.
  • Gather and analyse internal sales data, pricing history, and customer feedback.
  • Utilize statistical methods and financial modelling techniques to interpret data and draw meaningful conclusions.
  • Develop pricing models and simulations to forecast the impact of pricing changes on revenue and profitability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop pricing strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Determine optimal pricing structures, including list prices, discounts, and promotions.
  • Balance pricing considerations with product positioning, value proposition, and customer segmentation.
  • Continuously monitor pricing performance and key metrics.
  • Identify opportunities for price optimization through pricing experiments and analysis of price elasticity.
  • Recommend adjustments to pricing strategies based on performance metrics and market dynamics.
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations summarizing pricing analysis and strategy.
  • Communicate pricing changes and rationale to internal teams and external partners as needed.
  • Participate in compiling monthly sales projections.
  • Prepare and submit monthly report of client Profit and Loss statement.
  • Analyse the Income statement monthly to report on PBIT and EBITDA per month, per business unit.
  • Adhere to company prescribed financial procedures.
  • Ensure alignment to SHEQ and HACCP related programs in the department.
  • Conduct work in a customer orientated manner with potential clients and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Engage with the relevant department to gather necessary information pertaining to the business, utilise this information in a manner which projects the business in positive manner or Marketing.


Education Level:
  • Diploma or Degree in Business, Economic, Finance, Mathematics or related Field

Experience:
  • Proven experience in pricing analysis, market research or related field
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL or Python.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and financial modelling techniques
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
  • Detailed-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision.
  • Prior experience in pricing optimization or revenue management is a plus.
  • Knowledge of pricing software and tools (e.g. pricing optimization software, CRM systems) is advantageous.
