We are excited to be working with one of Cambridgeshire’s most well-respected, leading Security Companies. We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper to join their team and manage the day-to-day financial transactions. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with accounting regulations, and providing financial reports to support informed decision-making.



Responsibilities:


• Record daily financial transactions accurately and timely.

• Reconcile bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.

• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and payroll.

• Manage accounts payable and receivable, including sending and collecting invoices.

• Generate financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

• Track and monitor budgets and expenses.

• VAT Returns

• Maintain accurate and organized financial records.

• Stay up-to-date on accounting regulations and best practices.

• Perform other accounting duties as assigned.

• Working closely with the Accountants.

Desired Skills:

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.

• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage Line 50).

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
