A great new role for a Financial Reporting Analyst has come in for a multinational company in Biggleswade, to produce accurate monthly, quarterly, half yearly and annual financial reports and to provide ongoing monitoring and controlling of actual costs against budgets.

What will the right person look like?

The ideal candidate for the Financial Reporting Analyst role should be part qualified or working towards an accounting qualification, have experience in a similar accounts role, ability to use Excel at intermediate to high level (to include lookups and pivot tables), and experience using accounting software.

What will you be doing?

* Assist Financial Management with treasury, corporate tax, VAT and all International and statutory reporting.

* Ensure that actual vs. budgets are monitored and controlled.

* Record all financial transactions in line with company policy and IFRS.

* Provide support to the operational teams with Profit and Loss analysis (KER reporting).

* Reconcile all balance sheet accounts accurately on a monthly basis.

* Assist with the internal and external audit process.

* Produce monthly, quarterly and annual management reports.

* Identify any improvements to systems and communicate them to senior management with suggested solutions.


The Financial Reporting Analyst role is office based, in Biggleswade, 40 hours per week. Competitive salary, Bupa cash plan, attractive pension scheme, life insurance, loyalty bonus, and 20 days annual leave plus Christmas shutdown (3 days) plus bank holidays. Free on-site parking.
