To support the Finance Department with all aspects of Finance administration.
- Matric
- Good computer skills: Microsoft Office, Syspro (Advantageous)
- Minimum 1 year experience in finance
- Bookkeeping qualification or studying towards a finance qualification (Advantageous)

- Enter financial data into Syspro and Excel spreadsheets accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date records of financial transactions.
- Perform Cashbook function.
- Petty Cash handling and reconciliation.
- Reconcile bank statements with the general ledger to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or errors in bank transactions.
- Support month-end and year-end closing processes by preparing routine journal entries and reconciling accounts.
- Assist in monitoring and controlling company expenses by reviewing expense reports, verifying receipts, and reconciling corporate credit card and Stannic Fleet statements.
- Provide support during external audit by preparing documentation, reconciling accounts, and responding to auditor inquiries.
- Perform various administrative duties, such as filing documents, organizing financial records, and assisting with other tasks as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality and integrity of financial information at all times.
- Ability to maintain accurate and precise financial records with meticulous attention to detail.
- Strong organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workloads, and meet deadlines effectively.
- Demonstrated reliability and dependability in handling confidential financial information and meeting job responsibilities consistently.
- Commitment to upholding high ethical standards and maintaining confidentiality in handling sensitive financial data.
- Flexibility and adaptability to respond to changes in technology, regulations, and job requirements.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks, manage workloads efficiently, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, clients, and external partners to achieve common financial goals and objectives.
