Head Of Operations - Retail

Are you a dynamic leader with a passion for driving operational excellence and maximising business efficiency? My Customer is seeking a Head of Operations to join their team and take ownership of our retail business operations.

In this key role, you'll be responsible for leading and managing our operational teams to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our business. Working closely with key stakeholders including senior management, you'll refine billing processes, optimise cash flow, and support debt prevention initiatives.



  • Lead and develop operational teams, fostering a culture of excellence and collaboration.
  • Drive improvements in billing performance and streamline processes to enhance efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and anticipate and mitigate business risks.
  • Set and monitor business policies for onboarding, metering, and billing to optimise commercial outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the business change team to drive system and process improvements.
  • Develop and report on operational KPIs, taking proactive actions to achieve business objectives.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to drive positive outcomes.
  • Select and manage external providers to support operational systems and processes.
  • Maintain a strong customer focus while aligning with the organisation's interests.
