Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Credit Analyst to join our team at GetVantage. As a Senior Credit Analyst, you will be responsible for assessing and analyzing the creditworthiness of potential borrowers to mitigate risk and make informed lending decisions. This is a full-time position based in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India, and requires a mid-level candidate with 4 to 6 years of experience in credit analysis.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field
  • Proven experience as a Credit Analyst, preferably in the financial services industry
  • Strong knowledge of credit analysis techniques, financial modeling, and risk assessment
  • Proficient in analyzing financial statements, credit reports, and relevant data
  • Familiarity with lending policies, regulations, and compliance standards

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Perform thorough credit analysis to evaluate the creditworthiness of potential borrowers
  • Assess financial statements, credit reports, and other relevant information to determine the risk involved in lending
  • Analyze financial data and ratios to identify trends, abnormalities, and potential risks
  • Prepare detailed credit reports and recommend appropriate credit limits and terms
  • Collaborate with internal teams to review loan applications and ensure compliance with lending policies and regulations
  • Proactively monitor the credit portfolio and identify potential issues or opportunities
  • Provide recommendations for improving credit risk management strategies
  • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact credit analysis
  • Maintain relationships with borrowers and provide ongoing support and guidance
