Job Details

The Job:

  • Responsible to lead the team and carryout the Business Planning (BP) process to set overall Company targets, Sales targets and BU targets.
  • Require guide the team and engage in development of Long-Range Plan (LRP) and Business Strategy, to be in line with Dialog Axiata Group Strategy to ensure attainment of corporate objectives and goals.
  • Require engaging in preparing the LRP & BP Board presentations and obtain Board of Directors (BoD) approval.
  • Ensure collaborating with cross-functional teams to align plans and initiatives with the company's overall strategy.
  • Responsible to identify potential risks and developing contingency plans to mitigate them.
  • Ensure staying up to date with industry developments and trends to ensure the company/ BU remains competitive.
  • Need to review and renew business KPIs in line with corporate objectives while benchmarking performance with industry best practices to ensure control over processes
  • Require to supervise Organisation-wide performance monitoring system for Business Units and Market Business Units through Navigator to monitor the actual against the target and provide information to senior management to initiate and implement prompt actions
  • Responsible on monthly circulation of the Performance monitoring dash boards on time for the respective BU/MBU’s. Conducting the Monthly Performance review meeting with the Snr. Management Team
  • Ensure conceptualization, planning and coordinating business performance improvement projects to facilitate effective resource utilization (e.g. NGSE revamp, GAC analysis, Retail store prioritization)
  • Need to assess the outcomes and report to CXO’s on the success of projects while recommending the CXO’s to take corrective actions
  • Accountable to direct the team in building new business models across industry with other operators to enhance industry profitability via partnerships (e.g. Inter operator Roaming, RAN sharing, Field force etc.) Guide the team on conducting investment appraisals for key investments/projects/ on existing/new businesses in order to ensure recovery of investments and congruence to the corporate objectives
  • Responsible to supervise the team and carryout conceptualisation, planning and implementation of revenue drive strategies and cross functional cost rescaling projects (CRS) and report productivity/operational efficiency to CXO’s
  • Need to mentor and guide subordinates to enhance their competencies

The Person:

  • Should possess a Degree in IT / Eng. / Business / Management / Science/ Economics / Statistics
  • Associate / fellow memberships in Profession Qualification - (CIMA/ACCA/CA/CFA)
  • MBA/ Msc would be an added advantage
  • Strong Knowledge in ICT/Telecom Industry and finance industry (Financial Modelling, Business Evaluations)
  • Strong Interpersonal Skills (Deal with Senior Management)
  • Ability to manage the team with smooth flow of work and deliver quality output in timely manner in a pressurized environment
