What you will do in your working day
Joining the team based in the office in Belper you will take your knowledge to the next level and will be:
  • Working in the bookkeeping department preparing clients monthly & quarterly records.
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns.
  • Answering clients queries and chasing information to ensure acccurate and smooth business and service.
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Assisting with all areas of accounting within the businesses functions.
  • Processing bank reconciliations for clients.
  • Preparing and completing month end accounts.
The training you will be getting
You will be supported by EMA to complete the level 4 Professional Accountant Programme on day release from your employer for 15 months, attending our HUB in Derby Centre.

Level 4 AAT.

Modules will include:
  • Applied Accounting, Drafting Financial Statements, Internal Accounting Systems, Business Tax And Personal Tax.
  • Attending the EMA hub based in Derby for classroom sessions delivered by specialist trainers.
  • You will be supported by a dedicated mentor through your portfolio of work and end point assessment.
