This is an extremely rare opportunity to gain exposure in the Exploration and Production oil and gas industry. This hiring manager is looking for a diamond in the rough who wants to work hard and be paid well while learning more complex accounting.

The benefit of being trained in an entirely new industry that has another 20-year Runway. This industry is known for compensating employees at the highest end of the market including a 10% bonus and 100% employee/employee family benefits paid. Downtown hybrid schedule, paid parking, and 9/80 work schedule meaning every other Friday off.

What you need is 3+ years of Big 4 Public Accounting Foundation with strong Excel experience, and a desire to learn.

DUTIES:

· Maintain daily cash book reports and prepare monthly cash reconciliations

· Accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement preparation

· General ledger review and maintenance, including monthly accruals and journal entry preparation

· Oil and gas properties reconciliation and rollforward preparation

· Prepare monthly hedging schedule and mark-to-market entries

· Develop, document and test internal controls

· Assist with county, state and federal tax filings

· Assist with annual financial statement audits
