Our client, a leader in their industry is looking for a full time on-site Bookkeeper to join their growing team.

Salary/Hourly Rate

$20 - $23/hr

Position Overview

The Bookkeeper will join a cohesive Accounting Department, reporting directly to the CFO. This is a bookkeeper position that provides extensive exposure to the functions of general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

Responsibilities Of The Bookkeeper

  • Assist with month end close activities
  • Reconciling financial data for various reports
  • Handles vendor inquiries and research for variances, correct discrepancies
  • Responsible for AP filing functions
  • Enter vendor invoices including but not limited to coding to the GL, scanning and attaching invoice copies to vendor ledgers
  • Match invoices to checks, get approval, and distribute checks week
  • Performs and assists with other job-related duties as assigned. (Administrative and HR duties as assigned)
  • Responsible for cleaning up chart of accounts and auditing for errors

Qualifications For The Bookkeeper

  • 2+ years of accounting experience (internships included)
  • Highly proficient in MS Excel and QuickBooks (online)
  • Ability to meet deadline requirements and communicate effectively with non-accounting staff
  • Experience working in the non profit or real estate industry
  • Bilingual is a plus but not required

Education Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree is preferred but is not required
