You will join AXA Group Operations Finance. This division drives and monitors Group Operations strategic plan, sets budgets and efficiency targets, follows up and controls actuals versus budget targets, while providing timely, accurate and adequate financial information to enable thorough decision-making and ensuring compliance with local regulations.

Our main missions:

* Drive and monitor AXA GO strategic plan, budgets and efficiency targets. Track and control actuals compared to budget targets
* Establish and maintain cost accounting for AXA GO
* Define mechanisms for cost recharging to Entities, set rules to account for the financial implications of services provided, and monitor cash management
* Prepare and provide financial statements in compliance with regulatory requirements, ensure adherence to local and international tax regulations
* Coordinate and manage M&A projects (divestitures, internal transfer, business transfer) at AXA GO level

Our division is composed of several departments with respective accountabilities:

* Controlling
* Commercial Finance
* Accounting
* Corporate Finance
* Finance Transformation

We are looking for a senior accountant who will participate to the daily accounting tasks (supported by an offshore team), analyse financial information, maintain complete records while adhering to the standards of our global organization of an entity based in US Stamford- Connecticut - 90mUSD revenue.

She/he will actively participate and be responsible for the actuals during the closings with a special focus on balance sheet, non-operating items, and taxes.

She/he will prepare the tax calculations and tax declarations.

She/he will provide prompt responses to inquiries or complaints of internal & external parties. She/he should be autonomous, proactive and possess strong communication skills.

Main responsibilities

* Responsible for monthly, quarterly and year end closing in coordination with controlling and the offshore team.
* Responsible for the closings to be done according to US GAAPs and in time.
* In charge of the tax calculations and declarations.
* Prepare analytical reviews and reporting packages for senior management.
* Review AP payment cycles.
* Support the accounting manager on treasury activities.
* Monitoring and reconciliations: bank reconciliation, accounts receivables & payables, fixed asset module.
* Expense management - disbursements validation and AP aging analysis.
* Assist in financial audit.
* Adhoc project support.

Your Profile

* University graduate with at least 5 years working experience in accounting department.
* Working in an international company with experience on cross border transactions, transfer pricing obligations.
* Working experience in an IT company is preferred but not a must.
* Strong knowledge and experience with US taxes and regulatory reporting.
* Experience on treasury activities, electronic bank management, wire transfer payment, and cash flows.
* Organized, result and detail-oriented, self-motivated, analytical, and able work independently. Good team player, positive attitude and can work under pressure.
* Strong at effectively handling multiple priorities under time and delivery pressures in a changing business environment.
* Good knowledge in Excel.
* Experience with the following ERP if possible: Peoplesoft and SAP 4HANA
* Experience with SAP or any other ERP implementation preferred but not a must.
