Our client is a consulting firm with an established overseas presence with a close-knit but growing New Zealand team. They are seeking an experienced Financial Crime Specialist to deal with their growing client base. This role offers the opportunity to work on high-profile projects, assisting clients across the financial services navigating complex and interesting challenges. This is the perfect role for a candidate with exceptional client management and technical skills who is looking to work closely under industry experts and quickly develop their skills.
Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive financial crime research, analysis, and reporting
Provide audit services to ensure compliance with financial crime regulations
Collaborate with a team of experts to help clients understand their obligations
Proactively mitigate regulatory and reputational risks associated with all financial crime disciplines
Deliver the highest standards of service as a trusted advisor

Requirements:

2 to 5 years of experience in financial crime
Tertiary qualification in finance/business/law etc.
Additional professional certification is appreciated but not necessary
Strong client communication experience
Excellent Microsoft Office Suite skills
Team first approach to working life
A passion for helping to stop financial crime in NZ
