Homelovers Group Limited is a leading company in the home improvement industry, specializing in the installation of motorized blinds, louvers, retractable awnings, pergolas, and sunrooms. We are dedicated to enhancing the comfort and beauty of homes through our wide range of customizable products.
Due to the expansion of the business, we are in need of an accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will need to meet the following requirements:
Bachelor or above qualification in relevant fieldIdeally at least one year relevant work experience Good Work ethic and eye for detailsFamiliar with accounting system and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements.Excellent communication skills & great motivation
Job Description:

Preparing financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
Providing a clear picture of the company's financial performance.
Preparing and filling of GST and Income Tax returns, ensuring compliance to New Zealand statutory and regulatory requirements
Developing and maintaining accurate financial forecasts to support the company's strategic planning.
Collaborate with various departments to prepare budgets that align with organizational goals, and monitor performance against these budgets to identify and address variances.
Utilizing accounting software to record all financial transactions, ensuring that every entry is accurate and property categorized.
Maintaining organized financial records for internal review.
Overseeing the maintenance of financial databases to ensure the integrity and completeness of all financial data.
Implement checks and controls to prevent errors and ensure that all financial information is accurate and up-to-date.
Monitoring and managing the organization's cash flow to optimize the handling of funds.
Develop strategies to improve cash flow and ensure sufficient liquidity for operational needs.
Providing insightful analysis of financial data to identify trends, opportunities, and potential areas of concern.
Assist in the development of financial models to support business planning and investment decisions.
Providing financial insights and reports that support operational decision-making.
Communicate financial results and forecasts to management, highlighting key metrics and providing recommendations.

Days required and hours per week: 30 hours per week guaranteed, normally 35 hours per week from Monday to Friday
