We are currently looking for an experienced FMCG Category Analyst to become an active part of our commercial team. Primarily responsible for collaborating with internal stakeholders as well as engaging with our customers and clients on aspects that provide data driven analysis of market and shopper insights, including operating results, forecasts and strategic paths.

Prepare and present market analytics, insights, comparisons, advice, and recommendations to support strategic initiatives aimed at achieving business targets
Utilise proprietary and 3rd party data to collate and analyse market intelligence and performance
Assist the commercial team to engage with customers on matters related to range reviews, distribution and growth analysis
Report and analyse key performance indicators related to scan and distribution of our client's products across the FMCG industry
Maintain active relationships with 3rd party data providers and key stakeholders to ensure prompt and efficient handling of enquiries and continuity

Leadership Responsibilities:

Coordinate planning and reporting to the Business Unit
Act as an active member of the wider Insights & Analytics community
Collaborate on improvement projects within the Consumer Goods Business Unit
Work with other divisions to create synergies in reporting and processes


Previous experience in FMCG shopper data, reporting, and analysis is essential
Strong experience with systems such as SAP Business Objects, Excel modelling skills, including VBA and PowerPivot as well as advanced Power BI

Experience working with 3rd shopper insight providers such as Nielsen, Circana, dunnhumby & Quantium
Excellent communication skills, stakeholder management, and relationship-building skills are crucial
Results-driven with a passion for achieving goals, demonstrating end-to-end ownership of processes
