Reference: PTA001363-DP-1BookkeeperA retail outlet specialising in irrigation and water equipment, situated in Gants Plaza, Strand, Western Cape, is currently recruiting for an on the ball Bookkeeper to oversee both accounts and stock control.
Minimum Requirements:

Possession of a Diploma in accounting or a comparable qualification.
Minimum of 3 years' experience in Bookkeeping.
Proficiency in both payroll management and Bookkeeping principles.
Capability to reconcile substantial bank accounts.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Supervision of daily stock counts and resolution of stock-related inquiries.
Planning, preparing, and executing all stocktake counts.
Managing and overseeing all stocktake processes.
Processing and reconciling bank accounts.
Monitoring and reconciling credit card transactions.
Conducting daily cash reconciliation and balancing.
Ensuring timely and accurate completion of journals and accruals.
Handling general office administration tasks, including filing and miscellaneous duties.
Assisting the Finance Manager with annual statutory and BEE audits.
