SUMMARY OF JOBCollect, compile, and analyze less complex credit information for Portfolio Managers, Bankers, and Credit Administration to facilitate portfolio monitoring and lending decisions for commercial credit requests (C&I, Real Estate, Agricultural, Construction, Private Banking, etc.). Will work closely with Customers, Bankers, Portfolio Managers and Credit Administration to ensure portfolio monitoring and credit underwriting process is supportive and collaborative.ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIESConduct credit and statistical analyses for C&I, Real Estate, Agricultural, Construction, Private Banking, and other commercial requests, with assistance from Banker and Portfolio Manager team. Analyze to entail the completion of spreads, cash flows, covenant tests, portfolio monitoring, annual reviews and some underwriting.Organize and analyze financial statements, cash flow data, tax returns, rent rolls/tenant leases, collateral, Borrower/Guarantor credit histories and other related materials.Collect and compile pertinent credit data to prepare financial spreads and cash flows within acceptable SLAs. Assist Bankers and Loan Assistants with ongoing portfolio monitoring (financial reporting, loan covenants, annual reviews, etc.) of Customers' financial performance based on existing Bank polices and loan agreements.Calculate pertinent financial ratios and other financial data as appropriate.Maintain current knowledge and follow all bank financial and security regulations and procedures.Embody, embrace, and demonstrate InBank's Core Values: Commitment, Innovation, Responsibility, Teamwork, Happiness, and Authenticity.Other duties as assigned.JOB REQUIREMENTS:Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experienceWork Experience: 1+ year of experience in credit analysis and/or lending activitiesLicenses/Accreditations: None requiredComputer Skills: Basic to Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Analysis Software (Moody's/MetroStudy)Other Requirements: Basic working knowledge of financial and spread analysis, portfolio monitoring, credit, lending, and underwriting processes and principles. Basic working knowledge of credit risk, portfolio monitoring, covenant testing and relationship manager teams. Solid internal and external relationship and communication skills - both verbal and written. Strong organizational skills and ability to multi-task efficiently and accurately in a production-oriented environment. Occasional travel may be required for meetings/trainings. Must be able to use fingers, hands, and wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, and operating a telephone.Preferred Skills/Experience: Strong attention to detail and accuracy; professional and courteous communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate between key internal business partners.SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESCustomer Service: Ability to work effectively with both internal and external contacts. Maintains confidentiality in handling customer and bank information.Financial: Basic knowledge of commercial banking, economics, accounting, and finance.Autonomy: Discretion for recognizing and minimizing risk to the bank. The applicant who is selected for this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:Targeted hiring range based on experience: $20 - $30 per hour.
