This position would be primarily supporting the controller for a family office. The ideal candidate would have a can-do attitude and ability to manage various administrative, clerical, and accounting tasks. Organization skills are a must-have and previous experience in back office for investment or accounting firm could be an ideal transition. This position is part time and would start at 20 hours a week with room to go up to 30.

What You'll Actually Do:
  • Entering cash activities into QuickBooks on a weekly basis.
  • Reconciling accounts, collecting and depositing payments.
  • Collection and management of tax documents, including K1s.
  • Light paralegal duties including electronic filings, state specific to CO, CA, DE.
  • Processing accounts payable and accounts receivable.

To Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:
  • At least 4 years bookkeeping experience to include AP/AR
  • Professional services industry experience
  • QuickBooks experience
  • Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

It Would Be Brilliant If You Also Have
  • Familiarity with tax filings
  • Experience transitioning from paper to electronic filing
  • Family office experience

Where and How Much:
  • 100% in-office (Cherry Creek area)
  • Part-Time - Ideally 4 days a week for 5 hours a day
  • Benefits optional
  • $34-$36 per hour
