You're the analytical type who loves template building and report writing, looking at accounting processes, and identifying opportunities to streamline them.

A problem-solver who's happy to collaborate across the business and confident working in multiple currencies.

But you want to do what you enjoy in an SME with a positive culture and a true hybrid work pattern.

How about this role, newly created because the business is doing well, with expansion into Holland and the Finance Director wanting to reduce their workload?

Their right-hand person has no more capacity, so this position has been created to sit between the two and they're grateful for that support from the business.

With overall responsibility for the accounts team of three, you'll be demonstrating your leadership skills (approachable, supportive), ensuring accuracy and compliance whilst making the role your own.

Your job specification is varied and interesting, working on Sage 50.

Company turnover is over £5 million, situated in a converted barn in a peaceful rural location. Offices are open-plan, there's a nice kitchen to prepare food and drinks and you'll want to enjoy their outdoor area for breaks in good weather.

It's a small business but they're big on other important stuff. Like a good salary, 23 days annual leave (increasing to 28 with service) and a culture which is described as respectful, caring and flexible.

After a six-month probationary period, you'll be able to work from home as often as up to four days per week.

Your working day is 9 am to 5 pm.

You'll enjoy team charity events to do your little bit for your community, they have meals out from time to time (they like each other) and an annual team build day in the summer.
