FinTech RS are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Accounts Payable Assistant based in Westhill, Aberdeenshire. This is a permanent, full time position, with Hybrid working available.

Main duties include:

  • Reporting to the Senior Accountant, the Accounts Payable Assistant is responsible of maintaining all Payable/Supplier Accounts, ensuring all data is up to date.
  • Manage the entire Accounts Payable workflow, including add invoices into validation workflow, push for approvals, provide required information etc
  • Communicate with suppliers/third parties and internal points of contact for approval
  • Responsible for posting all invoices and controlling/balancing supplier accounts.
  • Create new or make amendments to current supplier accounts
  • Create PO’s and receipts for services related to overhead expenses
  • Collate information and prepare Ad Hoc reports when required
  • Maintain all Accounts Payable data in an organized manner, and archive data when required

Suitable candidates should have the following:

  • Previous experience in an Accounts Payable role is essential
  • Any recognised Higher/Further education level qualifications in Accounting/Finance related subjects is desirable, but not essential.
  • Competent in Microsoft Office applications, including strong Excel skills.
  • Experience with SAP would be desirable, but not essential
  • Organised approach, with the ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work against time constraints
  • Strong Attention to detail.
  • Good verbal and written communication.
  • Ability to work co-operatively as part of a small team.
